A new digital magazine for classroom organization

February 22, 2013

in classroom management ideas, really cool stuff

Here’s something fun for your weekend–an interactive digital magazine that shares classroom management and organization ideas! Created by Charity Preston of The Organized Classroom Blog, the magazine is a great new resource with practical solutions for organizing your classroom. There are also fast, simple organization challenges for the upcoming month, and stories and suggestions from fellow teachers.

I think the concept of a digital magazine for teachers is such a fantastic idea, and I love how interactive the format is. Charity has done an amazing job putting this together!

The Organized Classroom Magazine sells for $2.95 an issue (or $24.95 annually), but Charity has offered to make the first issue available to readers of The Cornerstone for FREE! It’s embedded here, so you can read it right from this page (click here if you’re viewing the post via email or RSS and can’t see the magazine below):

Click here for more info about the magazine, including how to subscribe, download an interactive pdf copy, print off pages as you like, or order hard copies of the magazine.

What are your thoughts on the digital magazine format? Any feedback for Charity? What would you like to see included in future editions of The Organized Classroom Magazine?

Angela was a classroom teacher for 11 years and currently works as an instructional coach and educational consultant based in New York City. She's created a webinar series on pro-active behavior management and has written 3 books for educators.
